Rev. Sami Gerges

Sami Gerges was born in Suez, Egypt.
Graduated in Alexandria as an Engineer.
Practiced engineering in Alexandria, Kuwait and Sydney for about 25 years.
He is married to Samia and has an adult Son and a Daughter.
They migrated to Sydney 1993. Sami started full time ministry in 2000 when he joined the Presbyterian Theological College for four years.
He graduated and was ordained as the assistant minister in the church in 2004. In 2011, he was ordained associate minister.
While he is involved in different ministries in both the Arabic and English congregation, most of his ministry is among the English congregation.
His hearts desire is to see young people come to the Lord Jesus as their saviour and change in their character to be like Jesus and to see more growing up to serve the Lord in and outside the church. He enjoys good music and travelling.
